Anteater: endangered African specimen

With a two-foot tongue and thick fur, the anteater compensates for its poor eyesight with an excellent sense of smell and long claws essential for opening anthills. A fairly solitary African animal outside the breeding season. Once fed, they can spend up to 16 hours a day sleeping.
